Wendy Kennedy Smith, 47, of 406 Clemson Street, Laurens, wife of James Wesley Smith, died Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Laurens County Memorial Hospital.

Born in Greenwood, S.C., she was a daughter of Danny Robert Kennedy, Sr. and Donnis Underwood Kennedy. Wendy was a loving wife and mother.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends before the service from 2-3 p.m.

Following the service, the family will gather at the home of her sister, Amanda Christian, 107 Chatham Drive, Greenwood.
