Robert Ware Jones, 67, of 205 W. Farley Ave., passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Laurens County Hospital.

Born in Jacksonville, Fla., he was the son of the late Robert L. and Martha Ware Jones. A U.S. Army Vietnam-era veteran, he attended the University of South Carolina before graduating from Lander University.

He is survived by an aunt, Mrs. Catherine W. Dunn of Virginia Beach, Va., along with a number of cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 5, 2018, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Laurens with Military Honors. The family will be at their respective residences and will greet friends following the service.
