Shane Ray Pennell

Shane Ray Pennell, 37, died Tuesday, October 10, 2017.

Mr. Pennell was born in Statesville, N.C., to Benny Ray and Donna Norton Pennell. He loved watching and collecting horror movies, the Pittsburg Steelers and the Georgia Bulldogs. He loved his nieces and nephews, but his son was his world.

Surviving, in addition to his parents are a son, Dylan Pennell; a sister, Melinda Pennell; two half sisters, Melissa McLelland and Nicole Murphy; a half brother, Michael Norton; and maternal grandmother, Ava Norton.

Memorial services were 2 p.m. Sunday, October 15, at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family received friends one hour prior to the service.
