Lawrence Clarence “Larry” Williamson

Lawrence Clarence “Larry” Williamson, age 82, of Laurelwood Apartments, Laurens, S.C., passed away on September 26, 2017, at Hospice of Laurens County Hospice House.

Born in Cocke County, Tenn., he was a son the late Robert Lee and Dora Ellison Williamson. Larry was a US Marines veteran and retired from the restaurant industry. He was an avid fisherman.

Surviving are his son, Jimmy Williamson of Nevada; sisters, Martha Craine and Mary Sue Merchant, both of Laurens; brother, Carl Williamson of Laurens; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Temple Baptist Church.

The family will be at the home of Tim and Kim Williamson, 40 Quail Run, Laurens, S.C. 29360.
