Walter Furman Campbell, Sr.

Walter Furman Campbell, Sr., 73, of 103 Eden St., Laurens, S.C., and husband of the late Patricia Burns Campbell, passed away, Sunday, September 10, 2017, at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood.

Born in Clinton, he was a son of the late Estess and Daisy Bigham Campbell.  Mr. Campbell was retired from Timken,  was a long-time employee of Colonial Stores, and was currently employed with American Security.  He was a member and deacon of Holly Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Holly Grove Baptist Church, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The family will be at 105 Edgewood Dr. and will receive friends at The Kennedy Mortuary from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
