Mabel Elizabeth Howard Ferrell

Mabel Elizabeth Howard Ferrell, age 89, of 327 Hillbrook Road, Laurens, S.C., and widow of Rev. Norman Reid Ferrell, Sr, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at National Healthcare Center of Laurens.

Born in Hartwell, Ga., she was a daughter of the late L.N. and Clara Mae Paige Howard.  Mabel was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Gray Court and worked alongside Rev. Ferrell throughout their ministry for 45 years.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Friendship Baptist Church in Gray Court. Burial will follow in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Kinards.

The family will be at the residence. Visitation will be held at Friendship Baptist Church one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
