Andrew Stewart Broome

Enoree, S.C. – Andrew Stewart Broome went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 14, 2017. Everyone who knows Andrew knows his unique sense of humor, love for his family and his bright creative mind that spilled over into his passion for cooking, plants and the family farm. The love of his family was no match for the power of the disease of addiction.

Andrew was born in Laurens, S.C., and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He is the son of Greg and Angie Broome and brother of Lauren Broome. He graduated from Laurens Academy, the University of South Carolina and the French Culinary Institute. He worked at Toyota of Greer in internet sales.

In addition to his parents and sister, he is survived by: his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Broome of Laurens; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Jack Stewart of Enoree, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Jack Stewart.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 20, 2017, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Phil Whitt and Rev. John Lee. A private burial will be held in Warrior Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
