David Abrams

David Lee Abrams, 76, husband of Martha Ann Owens Abrams, of 110 Shady Lane, Laurens, S.C., died Monday, June 12, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Joseph Preston “JP” and Jessie Mitchell Abrams. He was a veteran of the US Army Reserves. Mr. Abrams retired from Monsanto after 36 years of service. He was twice married, first to the late Polly Owens Abrams. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 16, at Ware Shoals First Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 15, at Parker-White Funeral Home.
