Ret. Lt. John Marion Vinson

Ret. Lt. John Marion Vinson, 86, of Laurens, widower of Frances Rumsey Vinson, died Monday, March 20, 2017. Born in Habersham County, Ga., he was a son of the late Willard and Ruby Vinson. John served in the United State Air Force. He retired from the SC Highway Patrol after 34 years of service. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 23, at 10:00 a.m. at Foothills Presbyterian Communities with the burial to follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
