Joe Thomas Owings

Belton – Joe Thomas Owings, age 87, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Owings in Laurens County on January 24, 1930, he was the son of the late Wister Robert Owings and the late Fay Simpson Owings. Joe worked for Milliken Peerless Plant and for Anderson County School District 2. The Funeral Service was held on Saturday, March 4, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, followed by Interment at Garden of Memories.
