Betty Willis Satterfield

Betty Willis Satterfield, age 89, of 401 Forest Dr., Laurens, and widow of R. B. Satterfield, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2016, at her home. She was born in Fountain Inn and was a daughter of the late Claude and Cora Nell Curry Willis. Mrs. Satterfield retired as Chief Magistrate of Laurens County in 1993 with sixteen years of service. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 1, at 3 p.m., at the Green Pond United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, at the Gray Funeral Home of Laurens. The family will be at the residence located at 401 Forest Dr., Laurens, SC  29360.
