Ruth Garrett Proctor, 92, of Asheville, N.C., formerly of Ft. Pierce, Fla., and Laurens, S.C., passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017, after a short illness. She was born on December 27, 1924, in Laurens. A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Laurens at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2017.
