Newberry – Viola Virginia Murphy Ochiltree, 81, widow of Jerry W. Ochiltree, died Friday, February 3, 2017. Born on November 11, 1935, in Columbia, she was the daughter of George and Viola Oxner Murphy. From the age of two she was reared by Rufus D. and Sue W. Oxner. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 6, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. McSwain-Evans Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
