Edwin Alston Babb Sr.

Edwin Alston Babb Sr., 86, of Gray Court, passed away on January 27, 2017. Mr. Babb was the son of the late Grady Henry and Luree Abercrombie Babb, and was a United States Air Force Veteran, serving his country in the Korean War. Ed is survived by his wife of 65 years, Leslie Stewart Babb, along with his four children, Edwin Babb, Jr. and Shannon, Diane Hodges and Barry, Cynthia Willis, and Bernice Murdock and Danny. The family will greet friends on Monday, January 30, at 12:00 p.m., followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at Rabun Creek Baptist Church, 17045 Highway 101 South, Gray Court. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
