PC football releases 2017 schedule

The Presbyterian College football team, led by returning head coach Tommy Spangler, released its 2017 season schedule Wednesday, a schedule that features a program-record seven home games – including six straight in one stretch.

PC opens at Wake Forest (Aug. 31) and at The Citadel (Sept. 9) before starting its homestand. PC will host Campbell (Sept. 16), Cumberland (Sept. 23), Wofford (Sept. 30), Saint Francis (Oct. 7), Charleston Southern (Oct. 14) and Kennesaw State (Oct. 28), with an off week scheduled for Oct. 21.

The Blue Hose then visit Monmouth (Nov. 4) and Liberty (Nov. 11) before closing the regular season with a home contest against Gardner-Webb (Nov. 18).

Game times for each contest will be released at a later date.
