Sinclair suspended indefinitely

Laurens High boys’ head basketball coach Ben Sinclair was suspended indefinitely following his actions at Friday’s game against the Greenwood Eagles.

Sinclair was ejected after receiving his second technical foul of the game, the technical coming with 1 minute, 20 seconds left in the game, as Laurens lost 64-56 to the Eagles. Sinclair, after being ejected, confronted the official who ejected him and had further words with him. Sinclair was then pulled back and escorted from the gym.

The suspension means Sinclair will miss at least Tuesday night’s game against Hillcrest and may miss Friday’s game at Mauldin.
