Musgrove Mill to host ACC men’s golf tournament
By Nick Herman
CLINTON – The top men’s golfers in the Atlantic Coast Conference will play next April’s conference tournament in Clinton.
Musgrove Mill Golf Club was announced Tuesday as the new site for the 2017 ACC Men’s Golf Championship, which is slated for April 21-23, 2017. The news came in a statement posted on the ACC’s website. Men’s golf was among seven tournaments that had new sites announced on Tuesday, but is the only tournament that will be played in the Upstate.
The tournament was moved from Old North State Club in New London, N.C., because of the ACC’s recent decision to move all neutral-site championships out of North Carolina due to the HB2 law.
This is the first time Musgrove Mill will host the tournament.
