Laurens Academy football game moved to Monday

LAURENS – The Laurens Academy varsity football game at Jefferson Davis Academy slated for Friday has been tentatively changed to Monday at 6:30 p.m.

Jefferson Davis is located in Barnwell County, which is one of the many counties near the Atlantic coast that have closed school for the remainder of the week due to Hurricane Matthew, which is expected to come very close to the coastline by Friday.

The Monday scheduling is still subject to change.
