James Reed Nelson of Spartanburg passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice. He was born February 7, 1947 in Laurens County. He a son of the late James H. and Carrie S. Dr. Mable E. Nelson, D.D., 86, of Syracuse, N..Y, affectionately known to her family as "Madeal",
went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born on March 24, 1928, in Laurens County, S.C., to the late William Lomas and Lydia Mills Pyles.
