Born in Greenville County he was a son of the late Melvin Ashmore and the late Mollie Lee Thompson Ashmore. Funeral service was held Saturday, April 11, at the Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville.

Larry Austin Jr., 81, of 212 Jersey Street, Laurens, died Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Hospice House of Laurens County, Clinton.  Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Larry Austin Sr. and Lillian Garrett Austin. A graveside service was held Monday, April 13, at the Flat Ruff Baptist Church.

Darrel Bailey of Laurens went home to be with his heavenly father April 11, 2015. He was born November 9, 1952, to parents Herbert and Ruby Bailey in Grundy, Va. David Kenneth Couser, 73, of 323 Kingwood Estates, Laurens, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015. Ken was born in Shelbyville, Tenn., and was the son of the late Lavon and Flossie Couser.
